I saw Biden in Woodbridge, Virginia yesterday.
One comment he made, paraphrasing here, "At 9 a.m. last Monday, John McCain said the fundamentals of our economy are strong. At 11 a.m., he said it was an economy in crisis."
And then Biden said, "That's what we Catholics call an ephinany."

What I don't understand is why selling the plane at a loss is important. From what I've read, one of the plane's uses was to transport convicted criminals to prisons outside the state. It sounds like it was well used. Shouldn't the value of the plane depreciate over time; thus the plane would be expected to sell at less than its original price?
What am I missing?
