Goodman is off message. Instead of "Voila! Problem solved," he should have said "POW! Problem solved."

I completely disagree with Todd. I believe the Democratic Congress is suffering politically right now because they haven't pursued impeachment.
Just like the caving on FISA this weekend, the reluctance by the Dem leadership to pursue impeachment furthers the impression with the that they are weak.
And that is a very bad impression to leave in "a time of war".Posted at August 7, 2007 7:55 PM in response to Impeachment Pit

I agree that Katrina was the tipping point and withing the Katrina disaster, the "Brownie, you're doin' a heck of a job" comment by Bush was the singularity.
With that comment it became painfully obvious to everyone that Bush cared more about loyalty and staying on message than about reality.

Is Daddy Bailing Out W again?
Baker, Hamilton, Gates, all cronies of Bush 43, coming to clean up the mess of Iraq.
I see a parallel here. Didn't Daddy's friends bail out W when his business failed?
It is hard to break old habits.

Is there a good bio movie of Grant? If not, it seems like excellent material for such. HBO Movies would be a great studio to produce one.

That is my understanding and my concern about him. I don't remember the details, just that his postion on abortion was more in line with moderate republicans.
