"But it was Ambassador John Bolton who really stole the show."
It's a trivial point, but every time I see the words "John Bolton" preceded by "Ambassador", I want to vomit. I'd much rather see the words "Ambassador John Bolton" always preceded by something in parentheses, such as "(disgraced former)" or "(neo-con provacateur)". The unadorned honorific in front of this man's name brings shame on us all.

Whatever Sharansky went through in the Soviet Union does not justify his support for the American traitor and convicted felon Scooter Libby, whose complicity in Cheney's reign of terror is contemptible. MJ is totally justified in heaping scorn on Sharansky and the other Libby apologists.

"Even Wolfowitz has been infuriated with a few judgment lapses by Kellems"
Pot...kettle...black.
These are indeed rare and wondrous times. No matter where one turns, the Bush house of cards is collapsing, the cards are fluttering down.

How about "David Ordure"? OE for filth, excrement. David Ordure, Dean of the Beltway Brown-nosers. Works for me.
And what does the WaPo emit? The Odor of Broder.
The man is beyond noxious. He is toxic.

To minimize GOP complicity in leaking a covert agent's identity for political purposes, Victoria Toensing repeatedly asserts that Plame was not covert under the terms of the IIPA and therefore the entire Libby prosecution is meritless. Toensing hinges her argument on an assertion that in order to be considered covert under the IIPA, the agent must be, or must have been, stationed abroad, whereas the language of the IIPA refers only to "serving" abroad. Plame was apparently stationed in the U.S. but travelled on covert missions abroad during the time period relevant to the IIPA.
Given that Toensing claims to have drafted the IIPA, the precision of her legal writing can be inferred from the fact that the statute simply does not say what she says it is supposed to say. She goes on to assure us that Congressional intent was that service abroad reqired being stationed abroad. She cites to no evidence from the Congressional record for this contention, and only a fool would accept her say-so on this.
Why in the world is this harridan given so many opportunities in the media to spew her nonsense minimizing the Bush regime's high crimes?

While she's there, maybe she could try to talk Israeli authorities into telling Dick Cheney to call off his perhps imminent invasion/bombardment of Iran so that there would be at least a snowball's chance of resolving the Israel/Palestine problem.

What does the GOP have? Mutt Romney, pander-dog. Goatman Giulani, for whom it is always rutting season. And Loony-Bird McCain. It's about time for McCain to climb back on the Flip-Flop Express, fire up the diesels, and lumber off into the sunset.

To imply that Icky Toensing and Representative Goober are stupid or ignorant is to insult everyone at less than or equal to the level of Borderline Intellectual Functioning. Icky knows exactly what she is doing, and at what cost. Icky is a liar. She has been a liar, and she will continue to be a liar, like so many other Bush administration mouthpieces. She prostitutes whatever innate abilities she may have in order to support the Bush administration, and she will continue to do so. It's no wonder she came across as hardened and cheap as a $10 street prostitute when she was being grilled by Representative Waxman, and I apologize to prostitutes everywhere for insulting them by making that comparison.
