  • Don't Worry - The Government Will Fix Everything

So I woke up this morning to the news that the United States had become a socialist state, essentially buying the homes of many of the country's less-wealthy homeowners.  Interesting development, that.  And the Merill Lynch stock I had been...more »

What's the problem with FISA anyway? Let me be upfront about this: what follows will be interpreted by some of you out there as further apologia for Obama. I don't see it as such. Obama's FISA position concerns me, though...more »

  • Brilliant! I'd pay money to see that debate, especially if it was Obama/McCain. Better yet, Biden/Palin.

  • What we are seeing is the marginalization of McCain. His supporters are dwindling, are sensing he's unhinged, and the only ones left willing to come to his rallies are right-wing crackpots.

You are judged by the company you keep, and McCain's companions are only going to drive him further into a hole.

  • It's a perfect loan if you can't afford to buy a house. Three years, and if the value of the home goes up, you can sell and take the equity away. If the value of the home goes down, you walk away and let the bank deal with it. It's a win-win for homeowners, as long as you are willing and able to possibly destroy your credit and find a new place to live in three years.

The homebuyers weren't the stupid ones. The banks were.

Wait...I think there's one more donation sneaking in under the wire.

What do you think about a tie? You keep the collar, and maybe rotate colors on a weekly basis, but stop the animation? Or you could revert to your old, pre-vermillion-collared shirt photo.

  • The only thing that worries me about the results is that damn Columbus Dispatch poll. CD polls are so unreliable that a +7 for Obama probably means he's losing by 10.
